Our Journey

Aromatic Fresh Kenya Limited was founded with a vision to revolutionize the agribusiness landscape in Kenya. Established in 2020, our journey began on a 10-acre production site in the vibrant town of Kitengela, Kajiado county, Kenya. With a commitment to quality and sustainability, we have quickly positioned ourselves as a promising player in the herb sector. Our founders, driven by a passion for agriculture and a desire to provide fresh, high-quality herbs, embarked on this venture to meet the growing demand for aromatic herbs internationally.

In our short time since inception, Aromatic Fresh Kenya Limited has made significant strides in the agribusiness sector. We have successfully established our production site, implemented sustainable farming practices, and built a growing customer base. Our commitment to quality has earned us recognition in the international market, and we are poised for further growth as we expand our reach globally.

We strive to be industry leaders by setting the standard for quality, freshness, and reliability. Our dedication to quality motivates us to build solid relationships with our farmers and consumers, bringing people together around a shared passion for premium herbs.

Our Farm

Kitengela Farm

The farm is located in Kitengela, Kajiado County, Kenya. The area’s rich soil is ideal for growing a variety of produce, including herbs. In just three years, we have expanded from our initial setup of six greenhouse tunnels to more than fifty. While our primary crop is Basil, we also cultivate perennial crops such as Thyme, Sage, Sweet Marjoram, Parsley, Oregano, Sorrel, Lovage, Rosemary, Lemon Balm and Tarragon to broaden our product offering. We engage in sustainable farming practices such as use of drip method for irrigation and fertigation, and we use solar energy to pump water. More than 70% of our 50+ workforce consist of women, while more than 90% consist of youth.
